Jørn Lande es un cantante noruego conocido por su potente voz melódica y amplia gama vocal. Actualmente ha regresado a la banda Masterplan. Ha trabajado además en numerosos proyectos secundarios y bandas como músico invitado ocasional.

Biografía

Jørn Lande ha tocado con bandas como Vagabond (con Ronni Le Tekro de TNT), Yngwie Malmsteen, ARK, Beyond Twilight, Mundanus Imperium, Nikolo Kotzev (en el álbum Nostradamus) , Ken Hensley. También cantó el himno nacional noruego en la copa Mundial de fútbol en 1994.
Más recientemente, Jørn sumado a la escena metal mundial al frente de Masterplan, con quien ha publicado dos álbumes. En 2005, Jørn también asociado con Russell Allen, vocalista de Symphony X en el álbumThe Battle y su siguiente álbum, The Revenge, publicados el 11 de mayo del 2006.
El 11 de mayo de 2006, Jørn Lande abandonó la banda Masterplan, por diferencias creativas. Jørn quería tomar la banda hacia un estilo más melódico, mientras que los demás miembros se inclinaban hacia un sonido más pesado.
El primer álbum de Jørn en directo, fue Live in America, salió a la venta el 21 de septiembre de 2007, contiene 2 discos con pistas tomadas de su actuación el 16 de septiembre de 2006, en el festival de rock ProgPower VII en Atlanta, Georgia.
En 2007, Jørn Lande prestó su voz al álbum 01011001 de Ayreon y al último álbum de Avantasia, The Scarecrow , Ambos lanzados en enero del 2008.
Otro álbum de larga duración fue lanzado el 6 de junio de 2008. Titulado Lonely Are The Brave, y rápidamente se convirtió en el álbum de venta más rápida de su carrera. La pista 9 del álbum también está disponible como una edición limitada Slipcase versión con dos canciones adicionales, incluyendo un cover de la pista de título Stormbringer de Deep Purple
